Venturing Outside the City

Yesterday was wonderful.
We spent the day visiting Stonehenge and Bath, both of which were really cool, especially Bath!
All of us Southwesterners went on a bus tour with other CAPA International students that took us first to Stonehenge, where I got to learn much more about it than I knew before, and then Bath, where we got to roam around the town and visit the famous Roman baths.
There was so much to see, I think I’ll just let the pictures speak for themselves!
I’m obviously nervous here…
And then I’m like, “Hey! This isn’t too shabby!”
This is the coolest thing that happened to me all day.
I loved it!
Having tea in the Jane Austen room at Sally Lunn’s
Pouring tea while smiling at a camera takes some skill…
The Roman Baths!
People leave offerings for Sulis Minerva, the goddess of the baths.

After spending the day in Bath, I want to go back for more!!! Particularly to see the Jane Austen Centre that’s located there, since unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to see it. I’ll try to write more about our experiences there soon, but for now I have to dash!

Hope you’ve enjoyed the pictures!
